❋
Slow down with us. Walk, reflect, connect.
Monthly gratitude walks for community members seeking rest and community.
Free to attend • Tea & connection after • Third Saturday monthly at 10am
Our Why…
You're doing important work. But when's the last time you:
Actually felt present in your body instead of just pushing through?
Had a real conversation that wasn't about your to-do list?
Practiced gratitude without it feeling like another checkbox?
Connected with other community members who get what it's like to carry so much?
Here's what we know: Rest isn't laziness. Community isn't optional. And gratitude doesn't have to be complicated.
That's why we created Community Gratitude Strolls.
A free monthly gathering where you can slow down, connect with other community members, and remember the good stuff your brain often overlooks—no performance required.
What to Expect
WHAT YOU'LL WALK AWAY WITH
✓ A gratitude practice you can actually use (we'll give you prompt cards to take home)
✓ Connection with other leaders who understand the weight of doing meaningful work
✓ 60 minutes away from your screen and the constant pull of productivity
✓ Permission to rest without guilt, because rest is resistance and community is medicine
✓ Renewed energy for the week ahead—not from pushing harder, but from pausing intentionally
10:00-10:10am — Welcome Circle
Meet your fellow stroll-ers. Quick introductions. No networking elevator pitches—just humans being human.
10:10-10:35am — The Walk
One mile (from HQ and back) through the neighborhood. We'll give you gratitude prompts to reflect on as you walk.
Choose your experience:
Walk & Talk: Pair up or join a small group for conversation
Solo Reflection: Walk in quiet contemplation (we'll have visual markers for this)
10:35-10:45am — Closing Circle
Gather back at HQ. Share what came up for you (or just listen—both are welcome).
10:45-11:15am — Tea & Community
Optional mingling time. Stay for tea, connection, and this month's featured wellness offering from a local practitioner.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
This is a slow, conversational-pace walk—about 25 minutes for one mile. If you can walk and talk at the same time, you're good.
-
Totally fine. We offer a "solo reflection" option. Just let us know at check-in and we'll mark your name tag so people know you're in quiet mode.
-
We've designed this to minimize awkwardness. There's structure: welcome circle, walking time, closing circle, optional tea. You're never just standing around wondering what to do. Engage as much or as little as feels right. And feel free to bring a friend if you'd like.
-
Nope. The walk officially ends at 10:50am. Tea and mingling are completely optional. There will also be a featured wellness practitioner each month who may lead a meditation, stretching, or another calming or restorative exercise.
-
Absolutely! Just make sure they register separately so we have an accurate headcount. Or add them to your ticket.
-
Life happens. No penalties, no guilt. Just let us know via Eventbrite if you can, and feel free to register for the next walk.
-
You'll receive a card with prompts (like "Share a small moment from this week that brought you unexpected joy"). Pick one that resonates. During the walk, you can discuss it with a partner, reflect on it privately, or just let it simmer. In the closing circle, sharing is invited but never required.
-
No. Gratitude is a universal human practice. This walk welcomes people of all faiths, spiritual practices, and no faith at all. We're creating space for reflection and connection—that's it.
-
Light rain, we walk (dress accordingly). Heavy rain or extreme temps, we move the gratitude circle indoors. Severe weather, we'll email everyone 24 hours before and reschedule or cancel for that month.
-
Each month, we invite a local wellness professional to offer a brief (15-20 min) optional experience after the walk—things like breathwork, gentle movement, sound healing. It's a bonus, not a requirement.
