From Within WORKbook - A sneak peek inside the equity-centered SEL workbook

My second WORKbook is ready for purchase

hey yall…

My second WORKbook for educators is ready for you!

In the spring of 2021, I was commissioned to create a WORKbook for a school district’s SEL department. They were inspired by my first WORKbook, the Summer WORKbook for educators, and wanted to have a tool they could us to supplement their professional development sessions with employees in their district.

After developing the WORKbook for them, I began to consider ways to adjust the content for wider use beyond their district. And so, the From Within WORKbook was born.

This is a fully illustrated, interactive (on Google Slides or PowerPoint) workbook that creates space for educators (any adult within a school community) to deepen their self-reflection and build more social awareness, using the five SEL components as its framework:

  • develop self-management

  • increase self-awareness

  • develop social-awareness

  • enhance relationship skills, and

  • demonstrate responsible decision making.

Don’t take my word for it, let’s take a sneak peek inside.

(if captions don’t show up on the video, you can access it with captions here.)

Sooo, what do you think? Are you as excited as I am? If so, grab your copy.

  • After you complete your purchase, you’ll receive an email with the WORKbook link inside. Check your spam folder if it doesn’t show up in your main inbox. Contact hello@tamishawilliams.com if you have any issues or concerns.

  • If you’re considering purchasing bulk copies for your community, there are discounts for 10 copies or more purchased at once.

  • If you’re purchasing the WORKbook individually and work for a school/organization, check to see if they have professional development funds that could support your purchase.

  • If you’re wondering how to use this tool to supplement your school/organization’s professional development, stay tuned for meetups to discuss this. You can also schedule a consultation call with me to discuss your ideas.

Thank you for your support and inspiration. This tool would not be what it is without the input from the community of educators that surround me.

Ok, now I’m off to celebrate, (clean up a bit lol), and rest. Shouts to my wife for listening to me mutter endlessly about this WORKbook and the hiccups I faced over the past two weeks. It’s been a beautiful journey yall.

ways to work with me beyond the WORKbook…

EQUITY AS EXCELLENCE (June 27-July 1)

I’ll be serving as the opening keynote for this summer’s Equity as Excellence Summer Institute, hosted by the CATDC at the Dunn School in Los Olivos, California. The conference is back in-person and I’m excited to spend a week with educators to learn research-based strategies, develop concrete tools, build community, and engage in guided practice to support diversity and equity work in their schools. And you know my focus on health and wellness is strong, so there will be plenty of restoration and reconnecting taking place alongside our learning.

COACHING SERVICES

Through 1:1 coaching, I work with coaching clients to build their capacity to create sustainable change within their classroom, team, and organization.

If you’re interested in learning more about 1:1 coaching, or coaching packages for your organization, schedule a consultation call with me. I’m currently booking clients for the 2022-2023 school year. If you’re outside of a school, I’m accepting new clients to begin in August of 2022.

PROFESSIONAL NETWORKS

Additionally, a chunk of my time will be devoted to building sustainable networks with educators and practitioners across the country. Mary and I are at it again! Registration for our professional cohorts is open. Learn more and register here.
